As seen from the East Bay.
There are a lot of people driving automobiles around here. I don't own a car so I'm rarely stuck in traffic. One of the reasons I enjoy living here is the ability to access a diversity of natural areas with a bicycle: Mt. Tam, Diablo, Hamilton, beaches along the coast, redwood forests. Living without being car dependent is important to me.moschika said:that last pic is why i could never live in the E.Bay. it seems like that any time of day.
keep in mind, these (at least mine) were taken Jan-March.Creakyknees said:ok now I'm envious... the bay area is just about the only part of CA where I'd consider living
I'm gonna guess mt. tam.chuckice said:You can almost see my house. Where's that taken from? I may try to get there tomorrow if not far from the city...
Same for NC but I don't miss NC one bit and you couldn't pay me to live in FL.WaynefromOrlando said:Nice pics!
As beautiful as the Bay area is, I could never see paying the prices needed to live well there. What I paid for a 4 bedroom place on 1/2 acre in FL would not buy a garage space for my car in SF.
