hi. anyone here from San Leandro area? i'm new to this place and looking for a good, safe route to ride near marina blvd. thanks.

What kind of ride you looking for? You can do the loop of Redwood road and around Lake Chabot. Check ridewithgps and mapmyride to look for some local rides since you didn't list how far you wanted to go, if you want to just leave from your door, etc.

just want to leave from home and go for a 1-3 hour ride. i also prefer commuting around to explore the area sometimes as i have a road bike and a hybrid bike. thanks for your help.

There's a bunch more, though most of them include heading up to the eastern side of the city as there isn't much but city/MUT or dirt on the bay side but if you want a shorter ride areas of the bay trail are decently nice depending on section.
