I'm planning a longish (75-80 mi) ride with a fair bit of climbing in the first half. To El Dorado Hills, Folsom, then Loomis.

Rolling out from home at 9am. Anyone interested?

Here's the gist of it. There may be some slight variations (like Malcolm-Dixon to parallel Green Valley to get away from traffic).

ARBT to Iron Point,
left on Empire Ranch.
Right on Alexandra,
Right on Beatty, up and over the ridge.
Right on EDH, Right on Wilson,
Right on Ridge, back down retracing from last descent.
Right on EDH,
Left on Serrano,
Left on Bass Lake,
Left on Green Valley,
R on E Natoma, over the new bridge,
Right on Auburn-Folsom,
Left on Horseshoe bar,
Right on Brace,
Left on Barton,
Left on Oak Ave,
Right on Auburn Folsom,
Left on Greenback to
ARBT and return.

Sure, I can do that. I'll be riding up. Likely wearing a blue windbreaker, blue helmet, blue Colnago.

no worries, not on the fence. I've ridden all of those climbs plenty, except that I've never actually ridden UP Wilson. And I've thought the same thing - that mapmyride is conservative with its elevation figures. See you at 9!

Fun ride Frank, thanks for coming!

I ended up at right on 80 miles, 4600 feet, 14.9 avg. I could have padded it out to a century, but riding on the crowded ARBT isn't my favorite thing to do.

Hope to ride with you again.
