I'm planning my bike build and need to choose new handlebars.
I'm a fairly new rider, so I don't really have a favorite style or anything. My current road bike ('08 Spec. Roubaix Elite) has "anatomical" bars that seem to limit my hand position in the drops, but I love the "wedge" style upper portion.

I was looking at the Deda Elementi Phazer. It looks crazy, but I like the design ideas, although I dunno about the "power egg" foam ends...
Are there other bars that are similar to this bar?
What is the best way to choose a new bar?

Other bars you might want to look at.
Cinelli Bianca Palm, I have a pair and love them. They have a round (non-anatomical) drop.
ITM Sword.
FSA make some, though I am not a big fan of FSA. There are a number of others as well, have a look on eBay.

One potential issue with wing profile bars is that it limits the range of positions you can orient the bar without sloping the top of the bar out of a useful position.

A rough check list for choosing a bar.
1. Width, your LBS can help you with this.
2. Drop style, this is pretty subjective and depends on your riding style.
3, Reach, again this is pretty subjective and depends on your riding style.
3. Drop depth, yet again this is pretty subjective and depends on your riding style.
4. Stem length, which can vary based on the style/type of bar you choose.
5. Aesthetics, once you have a few candidates that pass muster for the above.

Bottom line is comfort, choose one that feels good in the riding positions you spend the most time in.
