seat rail-to-shell distances?

Anyone know which models tend to have really low rail-shell distances?

For example, my Fizik Arione measures 30mm (center of rail, measured between the seat underside shell and the midpoint of the metal rail).

I'm looking for the "lowest" seat options...

That's probably going to change when you sit on it. It'll also vary according to the seat material and the rider's weight. And when it does, what's flexing? The seat material? The seat frame? Both?

There's no industry standard, but almost all saddle manufacturers try to keep that dimension large enough so there's no contact between the underside of their saddle and the top of any commonly available seat post. Sometimes a "low" saddle gets put on a "high" seatpost and there is contact, but it's a rare occurence.
