Selle Italia Novus Boost Saddle

The new saddle made its debut at the Eurobike trade show last week.

One of the original central-channel saddles has been revised. Available in three versions, the new Selle Italia Novus Boost features a compact shape and innovative beveled tip that's designed for increased comfort.

The new saddle comes in three rail options -- carbon, Ti, and manganese.

The Novus Boost is also 2cm shorter than the Novus Endurance Superflow. That truncation combined with double density padding and the super flow center cut-out helps relieve pressure on the perineal area while still maintaining plenty of support. It's also easier to move around in the saddle.

Nubuk inserts in the rear give a touch of style for this saddle that's designed for road or mountain bike use. The three versions are the lightweight Kit Carbonio, plus Titanium and Manganese rail options.

The shorter length is designed to make it easier to comfortably move around in the saddle.

The Kit Carbonio ($320) option comes in small (135mm x 256mm) and large (146mm x 256mm) and weighs 182g and 187g respectively. Those numbers jump to 235g and 240g for the Ti model ($225) and 255g and 258g for Manganese rails ($110).
