Dear Women of RBR,

I need a new vacuum. Actually, I don't need a new one, I just need one.

I don't want to spend much over $100. What are your recommendations?

TIA!

you're cruising for a real ass-kicking around these parts with questions like that, even in jest, bucko. ;)

i have a 12-amp dirt devil bagless visio turbo. it will pull your freakin' carpet right out. :)

$125ish from target.

does wonders with doggie hair, too.

Start with a broom. After you have gotten sufficient hours in with the broom, they you would be ready for a starter vacuum. Jumping straight into a vacuum can be hazardous to your health.

And don't get anything more than a 105/Chorus equipped broom. Anything more than that is a waste and won't help you sweep any faster.

EDIT: Oh, and FIT FIT FIT. Make sure you get a good professional broom fitting.

I can't make a $100 vaccuum reccomendation. All of my $100ish vaccuums have been total crap. Plus, a buddy of mine bought a Dyson and let me borrow it for a couple of weeks. Nothing compares to a Dyson. But you're looking at around $500 there.

$500? Are you crazy? No way, not even if I owned a whole herd of indoor English Mastiffs!

Holy Smokes, that's like Johnny's operation for his mom. "It's her heart, Johnny. It could go at any time. Special this month, $499."
