Any one knows if it's compatible to use Ultegra DI2 that runs on 10 speedvto work on 11 speed cassette?

i would say no. the servo is programmed to move through 10 gears and short of a chip replacement i wonder how you'll get it to move through 11.

From what I understand, the number of cogs the system can shift through is governed by the RD. The 6770 RD will only shift a 10sp cogset. You could throw a 9070 RD on an otherwise 6770 setup and it should work.

So it is governed by the rear deriliur? If I change the rear to 9070 it will work? Will the 9070 rear take the ultegra electronic cable? As far I know their thickness is not similar.

There was a report when 11 speed DA was introduced that the current Ultegra Di2 would be software upgradable to do 11 speed. However, I have not seen any official statements saying this.
