I'm confused about Shimano C40 wheeles.

They were announced as 622x17, 17 mm internal, 24 mm outer width and height of 37 mm. This is how most on-line stores still have them specified.

On Shimano site currently I can find that they are 622x17, 20.8 mm outer width and height of 35 mm.

On the other hand, I see reports from first buyers that they actually measure 622x15, 15 mm internal width, 20.8 mm outer width and height of 35 mm.
I purchased Dura-Ace C40 Clincher (WH9100-CL) but my C40s rims are same as C35 ?? - Weight Weenies

The tubulars came through with the new specs, while apparently the clinchers are still using the old spec rims. Whether any new spec clinchers every actually made it out into the world, I can't say, but the clinchers that they are shipping are 35mm depth and 15i/20.8o width

Marketing forgot to tell engineering about their plans it seems... Real shame because they have a very unique product that was due for a little upgrade
