I realize DA 7900 will now accept 11-28 cassette. Does the same hold true for Di2?
In the past Shimano recommended on 12-27 only on Di2 Group. Anyone have any experience with an 11-28 on Di2 and what is the risk or downside of using that cassette on Di2. Thanks in advance............//jbeau

Shimano usually puts a little bit of "fudge" room into the rear derailleur capacity. I know the specs state a max of 27 and a min of 11. Personally I'd give it a try. The worst thing IMO is that it will be a rough shift into the 28t gear.

I'm running di2 with 7900 regular chainrings (53/39) and an ultregra 6700 11-28 and it works just fine. You may need a slight b screw adjustment, but it's working fine. I know the docs say the limit is 27, but as others have said, this is conservative.
