I just picked up a set of used Shimano Scandium wheelsets. The hub says WH-7801 DL. Anyone know what the DL stands for? I've never heard of it.....I've only seen the 7801 SL's.
Thanks for any feedback.

FWIW, I have a set of WH-7801's. The hubs say "WH-7801 EC". I'm guessing it's like a revision/version/run number Shimano uses for tracking if there's a specific problem. A similar two-letter tag was used to tell if your Ultegra wheel skewers were part of the recall a few years back.

Thanks for the response. Your logic makes sense. Since I bought them used, I feared that they may have been the none scandium version.....but after carefully reviewing the wheel, it clearly is scandium. I'm looking forward to trying out the tubeless tires.
Btw, I was fortunate to get Dura Ace skewers :)
