I know there are not many differences between the two except live tracking and the wireless upload to Garmin Connect and a few menu layout changes...

The 810 is $50 more (at $500). Has anyone out here used both and could you give feedback on to which one you prefer?

I just got the 800

It was the full kit with maps cadence and HRM for 500 with $50 store credit at bike tires direct. Could not justify the extra 150-200 on the 810, Just did not seem like it had that many more features for the money. I had also read about map incompatibilities with downloaded courses from the web
