Ultegra 9spd crankset...I cannot afford to upgrade at this time.
#1. Can I use alloy chainring bolts, or is the torque too much (not from my legs, mind you) for alloy. I use them on my mtb, but not on the smallest ring.
#2. Any weight advantage to swapping over to the DA BB rather than my Ultegra unit. It's about 5 years old now...time to replace it.

Yes you can use alloy. If you want a set of blue chainring nuts just PM me. I have a set of new Token ones you can have for free. The Dura Ace bb is lighter but is there are real advantage? I serious doubt it.

Thanks for the offer, but let's get those BLUE nuts to someone who needs blue.
Shucks, I would have loved to drop big weight just by replacing that BB...
