I rode up Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park once with snow about half that high in the spring. I thought I was the man, not. The worst part was the descent on the wet pavement, it was frickin cold and descending at 40 mph is sketchy with wet brakes.
I'll take your wet road and up you some fog on Hurricane Ridge. My wife and I did that ride in the fog once. It was kind of freaky on the ride down. We could see about 40 or 50 feet down the road. Still managed to get over 40mph near the bottom, but it was a fun ride.
