I'm a bit confused on Spec frames. I have a '12 Tarmac Elite which I'm pretty sure is a SL2 frame. Would I be safe saying the is the same geometry of the 2008-2009 S-Works frame? I believe that frame was a "10r" frame and mine is a "8r" but I'm more curious about the geometry and which model it is currently.

Save for HTL's (more below), assuming you're comparing like frame sizes, the geo would be the same.

For a short time Specialized offered shortened HTL's on some S-W models, but that can easily be verified by measuring.
