Some miscellaneous ramblings of mine, some about forum stuff, and some NNC (oops!)...
Admins: Can my username get changed, or is it not allowed? My current one is the one I've been using since early 2000 in computer forums, and from back in the days when I played EQ. I realize that it's time for a change from that.
Lounge: whatcha think about my avatar? I finally decided to take the plunge.
NNC: If the financial situation changes anytime soon, should I go from a 54cm to a 56cm? My fitness level has improved considerably. I feel as if I could go from a 100mm stem to a 120 to get more comfortable in the drops. Or, would I be better off getting me some Ultegra/OP's for durability instead? If I go with the frame option, Has anyone gone from steel frames to plastic? Did you like it? I do know that I'd be on a limited budget framewise, and a good steel would take a bit of searching to find used.
And now I've broken 800 posts in the time I've been here, do I spam too much?

If you need a larger frame, I am gonna guess that your seat is too high.

That's why I build my own.

I wonder why no one has commented on steel vs plastic

You built your own O/S? Because that's what sucks about PC's. The machine themselves are fine, it's the operating system that blows.

You dove in bigtime - a sleeping cat avatar. I wanna party with you, cowboy!

I'd keep saving up for a 58cm, atmo.

one of the more reliable machines i've used has been a used pc that had its hard drive wiped. everything that has been put on it, has been by me. there has been much few probs not having all that pre-installed crap.

disclaimer-- i don't own nor have ever owned a mac. maybe one day....

Von's my hero(ine) in this thread.

I have 2 macs fwiw. Windows sucks. Shimano is better than Campy. SRAM is the best. Carbon fiber won't asplode. Steel will rust.

Tom Boonen is still chasing tail (probably).

HTH etc.

I have a mac - my iphone, complete garbage OS. XP, when set up right, is fast and very stable. Vista has been good too, not as fast, but since SP1, it's been stable without any issues.
And Hollywood - that's just downright disgusting!
No news on changing names... maybe a new account, but I'm lazy.
