My wife's bike is equiped with a Sora 9-speed triple group. Yesterday she noticed that the front shifter was much more difficult to shift down to lower gears than it ever has been in the past, taking a real hard push on the lever to shift. Up shifting is fine. We ran it by the shop today and they adjusted the cable tension on the FD, and lubed the internals, but she still thinks something is not right and the down shifter is taking too much effort.

Any ideas on what could cause this problem?
