I don't use that pedal but a spray silicone is my go-to when a pedal gets noisy or hard to clip in/out. Silicone is less likely to attract dirt that petroleum based lubes. And then there is always paraffin (candle wax).

Just to be sure, I assume you'd spray it right on the back clip that you push down on.

You can spray it on the whole pedal platform, or cleat...whatever you want. It's obviously not going to hurt anything. The pivoting tail piece would be the most important in your case.
