I don't use that pedal but a spray silicone is my go-to when a pedal gets noisy or hard to clip in/out. Silicone is less likely to attract dirt that petroleum based lubes. And then there is always paraffin (candle wax). What would be the best lube to use to make clipping in and out easier?

Thanks for the info! You can spray it on the whole pedal platform, or cleat...whatever you want. It's obviously not going to hurt anything. The pivoting tail piece would be the most important in your case.
Actually the cleanest thing is to spray just the cleat on the shoe, but you can certainly spray the whole pedal as CX suggests.Hi Kerry,
Just to be sure, I assume you'd spray it right on the back clip that you push down on.
