I just bought and built up a Soloist with carbon record and I absolutely love it! For aluminum it actually soaks up the road very well. I went nuts and spent the 150 for the carbon seatpost too. Sorry I don't know anything about your other choice? :)

I narrowed it down to two choices and was wondering what frame you guys would pick? I am leaning towards the cervelo soloist team...

Specialized E5 :

Cervelo Soloist Team:

Don't know what prices you're finding but R & A is unloading '05 E5s for around $650.

That's a bargain on a killer racing frame.

If their sizes fit you the $500 or so dollars you save off a retail Soloist could be put to great effect on the build up.

I have a bike built on the E5 being sold by R&A and its great. Light and quick handling. No experience with the Cervelos.
