I'm thinking of upgrading my bike from a Giant OCR 3 and have been checking out the LBS. The main brand they carry is Specialized. I'm not too familiar with that brand, but there is a Roubaix Elite that I've been eying and it looks pretty sweet. Just what others thought of this bike and/or had any issues with it?

I just purchased this bike a couple of days ago and was fitted to the bike yesterday. I took my first ride today, a shortened ( due to rain ) 24 mile ride. Was quite comfortable until the rain came. I have been a Mountain biker for quite a while and this was my first road bike. Maybe it is too early to tell, but I think it is a great bike. My mtn bike was also a Specialized.

You may want to post this in the Specialized forum. Also, check out some threads there. You'll find lots of input/ opinions on the Roubaix's, among others.
