This is a Specialized, S-Works, Roubaix. The color scheme of the bike is red and black. I built it right down to the wheels in 2009 at a cost of $10k+. I wanted a very special bike so all the components used were top end. I used the same Specialized Roubaix [Quick Step] frame and fork that Tom Boonen rode when he won the Paris-Roubaix race. The rest of the components are as follows: Headset: Cane Creek / Stem: Easton E-90 / Handlebar: FSA / Hand Brake-Doubletap Shifters, Crankset and Cassette: Sram Red / Brakes: Ciamillo Zero Gravity / Hubs: Cris King / Wheel Rims: Velocity / Tires: Specialized Pro 700 x 23C and Saddle: Specialized Toupe. The frame size is 58 centimeters [22.83 inches]. The handlebars are leather wrapped. The result is a bike that is incredibly light [16 lbs], is tough, is a real head turner and is a dream to ride. It has just been professionally tuned and is in like new, ride away condition. In addition, it has had very light use because, unfortunately, shortly after I built it, I developed medical problems that required considerable surgery and ultimately made it very unwise for me to ever ride a bicycle again. I couldn’t bring myself to part with it so it has been sitting in my basement. As much as I hate to part with it now, it just doesn’t make any sense for me to keep it any longer. I am asking $6000. While I would prefer cash and carry, I will accept PayPal and will ship but only after I have received payment. I will not accept checks. The buyer makes own shipping arrangements and pays shipping and insurance.
