No experience with 10 speed, but I have found the 9 speed Dura-Ace/XTR chain to be a superior shifting chain to any 9 speed SRAM chain for both my road and mountain bikes with a Connex connector.

thoughts..

I wound spend $22 and for the KMC DX10SC sold under the Forte brand by Performance. It shifts great, has a reusable connector link and will last longer than any Shimano chain. I bought eight of them, but now I'll be switching to 11 speed soon and probably sell most of them.

Campy Veloce UN chains will last even longer, but the lack of a connecting link drives the cost up. The correct width Wipperman 10S1 link is also getting harder to find, although a SRAM powerloc will work, as will Forster Superlink model 4s.
