I'm looking to build my SSCX on this frameset.
It has a 130 rear spacing. Some of the options to build my wheelset will be using either Surly, All City, Phil or Paul.
There's wide range in the price ($40-200).
For those that run these hubs (or other 130 fixed/free), what are your opinions/experience with these hubs for a SSCX race setup.

Anything will work, use a Surly cog with the spacer kit. I have also taken an old 126mm wheel added a 4mm spacer and ran a singlespeed bmx freewheel.

I've used the surly free/free. Nice hub, works well, good price. Adjustment needs checking every now and then. Sometimes it tightens up and the bearings grind, sometimes it loosens up and you get a bit of play. Definitely not set and forget.

+1

If you're not buddies with your cone wrenches the Surly will annoy.
