I have ordered a custom built set of wheels from Pro Wheel Builders. When ordering the rear hub (Chris King Classic) the driver option's were Shimano/SRAM or for an extra $25 Stainless Shimano/SRAM. Of course I went the extra $25 thinking "It's more money so it must be better".
Can anyone tell me the difference between the two?

The freehub is made of steel so it won't mar from cassette use. It is heavier though. Most people don't bother. Some cassettes are better at preventing this because they connect more than one cog with a common carrier (Shimano Dura Ace large cogs is only one example).
