Stans, Open Pros and Conti Twisters
Has anyone play around with Stans and 700c rims?
I've got a pair of ZTR rim strips (26") that when stretched over an Open Pro seam to fill the cavity and extend up to just under the bead hook. The ZTR strips do not have the 'lobes' that the normal Stans strips have, I think this might be a good thing because there is not a lot of room in the narrower road rim.
I've fitted Stans to a dozen or so wheelsets, but all with "compatable" strips and Velox as per the instructions.
I'm interested if anyone can help with any suggestions.
