does anyone know where i can get a stem like this one( dont really like the thickness of it) that has a pop top stem so i can switch out handlebars easier since i have an older bike? I cant find any, i found and adapter i can <a href="https://www.excelsports.com/new.asp?page=8&description=Quill+Adapter+Post&vendorCode=CINELLI&major=1&minor=22" target="_blank">use </a> but id rather have the one piece stem. thanks</div>

I see what you mean re: the thickness. I don't like it either, but I wonder if it would almost have to be that thick to accomodate the hardware? :confused:

Unfortunately, I haven't seen one like that. The next best alternative I can think of is to put a threadless fork/headset on. They're avaliable in steel, aluminum or CF.
