What brands/components/accessories are ubiquitous on your rides?

For me:
  1. Brooks B-17
  2. Kool Stop salmon pads
  3. Quad Lock phone mounts
  4. VP platforms
  5. SRAM Apex 1X
  6. Shimano 105 hubs
  7. Mirrycle bike mirror (yeah, they’re dorky but the visibility is good)
Whadayagot?

Uniformity on the Brooks for my regular rides, although I've put their Cambium saddles on my foul-weather rides, and I gotta say, I really like them; no break-in, comfy even in street clothes.

My last pair of pads were Kool-Stops, and my next pairs will likely be so.

Everything else, I don't use. Is VP an internet term, or a pedal?*

I do have saddlebags of some sort on all my rides.

*If the former, what does it mean, and if the latter, why aren't you on Pitbulls?

I've got one of these on all my bikes, except the one with a carbon fork, since it doesn't fit. Love em.

I'll be giving Brooks saddles a try one of these days, never heard anything but good about them.

I'm now down to two bicycles. One road. One hard tail MTB. One Campy. One Shimano. The only common component is a Fizik Vitesse.

I ride four different bikes for different types of riding. Three have drop bars, three have disc brakes (I wish it was four, and one is mechanical) two have di2. The only constant is they all have Bontrager Affinity saddles.

The only thing the same on my bikes are, the computer (it virtually is the same computer), the pedals, and ..... the RIDER!

Must've been a boring day at work, Opus, eh? ;)

The only one of these I have is the Mirycle bike mirror. Call me a Fred, but I don't know how anybody rides without a mirror.

As far as saddles, the Selle Atomica is my saddle of choice. No break-in period like the Brooks.

I have one road bike. Campy Chorus, Record hubs, Record Pedals, etc. I've been riding Campy since 1969.

Nah, just curious what folks consider their "go-to" components regardless of which bike they're building up or riding.
