It didn't. There is gruppo if you're Italian or pretentious, or group if not. I didn't know we could call thaem ensemble too! I think I'call the cute matching lycra outfits an ensemble, but the brits call it kit.

I have fond memories of using Suntour XC Pro gear. I'm interested in their wheelset and hope they can survive this market.

My first bike was a KHS built with Superb Pro parts. I loved that bike, except for their brakes. They blew. Their new stuff looks very retro, which is odd since they were a company that tried to look cutting edge back then. I think the cranks will be popular with the fixie crowd. Curious about the short cassette hub. Is it supposed to work on 126mm frames?

Not the same Suntour. The original Suntour went away. New Suntour is, I believe, owned by SunRace. SunXCD is being started by the original owner of Suntour.

Yes, it did. My first road bike an early '80s Centurion Pro (frame was actually made by Cinelli) had Superbe Pro on it. I still have the frame.

'Group' or 'groupset' are probably the least annoying commonly-used terms, for better or worse.

'Ensemble' has the virtue of being hilarious, though. :thumbsup:
