What years marked the first individual and team time trials?
Thanks in advance for answers.
1934 was the first ITT (90km) - previous TdF's in 1932 and 1933 were very close, with only time bonuses deciding the winner, and the individual time trialing (at first very unpopular among riders) were getting attraction.

Team time trials were common in 1920ies, not sure precisely when the first one was instituted.

First team time trial was 1927 - the teams started together, but individual riders could go ahead of their team and get better time.

You forgot the most fascinating fact. There were 16, yes SIXTEEN TTT in 1927. Every flat stage was to be ran as a team time trail. Yikes...
