Make sure you do a variety of hills. Dont just practice on 1 or 2. You have to find a rhythm (cadence, gear, position) to match what you are up against.

Ive found that climbing hills is also the best time to work on the round stroke like Bill has stated. Find a nice long one with an even grade and practice the lifting up. Some like to think of it as lifting thier heel up the seat tube. Lemond like to think of it as pushing the knee to the handlebars. Either way its hard to do at first. You have to remember to do it until it becomes natural and I dont think it will ever be a "perfect" circle as far as power distribution goes. Someone correct me if Im wrong.
