Friday night "Brown" dropped off my Redline Conquest. My in-laws were in town, so I did not feel bad about disappearing for a little bit while they entertained my son and doing a quick installation of the BB and cranks. Sean's curiosity got the best of him and he decided wanted to help a little bit too. I almost put in the headset, but my LBS was only going to charge me $10 and, because he is the only one in town, I thought I'd throw some business his way.

As it turned out, he threw in some spacers, thanked me for helping him out with the installation, and only charged me $5 for everything.

The bike was built up later on Saturday and I cannot wait to take it out for its maiden voyage. My wife is itching to get a child trailer so we can f-i-n-a-l-l-y get back riding with the local group. She is pretty motivated as she has signed up for her first sprint triathlon that is coming up in May.
