How would i go about doing this. Do i need to know each individual spoke size. The spokes on the wheels are double butted straight pull fulcrum racing 3 wheels. Anyone give me some insight if i decide to do this. Is it worth doing to save the weight, How much lighter is titainium straight gauge vs steel double butted? The wheels have steel double butted. Im thinking about puting titainium straight gauge to replace them. Worth doing or not worth doing?

First you'd need to make sure the spokes will fit your hub.
Fulcrum uses proprietary straight pull spokes with a weird flat extension right behind the spoke head.

Just copy the spoke lengths from when you unlace the wheels.
Front will only have one size spoke.
Rear will have two sizes.

I think you'd lose about 2 grams per spoke, so ~70 grams in total.

It will be ludicrously expensive.
Your wheels are still heavy.
Titanium spokes are not very stiff.

Just buy a lighter wheelset.

Not worth doing. Since titanium spokes will have to be the same diameter as the steel spokes, they will be more flexible. The wheel will be more flexible laterally. Also, since titanium is a highly reactive metal, it will react with whatever nipples you use and the hub shells the spokes come in contact with, regardless of lubrication. Expect seized spoke nipples if you try to true a wheel.

I agree with the other posts that this is a bad idea. There is a reason there is not a plethora of Ti spokes wheels out there. If you really think saving 100grams is going to change your life, I'd just sell your current wheels and buy something lighter

As the others have mentioned, its an upgrade not worth doing. Why? It's still a heavy alloy rim with a narrow inner rim width diameter that's best suited for narrow tires. And its a shallow rim, not very aero. The lightest spokes on the market are the Berd polymer spokes. However the cost is huge & the downside is that they require more planning & time to build. You're better off just buying new wheels.
