Another black eye for cycling, Good for Floyd clearing his conscience and all. I never believed him. I wanted to believe that Lance and rest were clean but... On one hand your supposed to think Lance and JB are the smartest guys to come down the pro cycling pike and on the other that neither of them knew anything about Floyd's doping? I doubt Floyd had the knowledge/equipment to do his own blood packing. I don't think he sent his wife down to CVS to grab some EPO. Somewhere out there is cycling's Brian McNamee a person or probably person's who helped him and others cheat. That person is the real key
to this and Floyd knows who that person is. :(

As unrealistic as your comment is, if it turns out to be true it will say a lot...

Hallelujah
Floyd didn't clear his conscience. He's so angry that he's trying to bring others down with him. Personally, I can't wait until whatever hammer drops so this forum will be relieved of all the goofy "What if" scenarios.
Guilt

Guilt and secrets weigh heavily on the soul. If he's sincere and honest now, good for Landis. If he's bitter and trying to bring others down....hmm, not cool. If, as Lemond and Dr. Kay state, Landis is trying to clean up the sport, well then good luck with that. It will take alot more than an admitted cheat to change the current state of cycling.

I was being sarcastic when i said Floyd was clearing his conscience, he should have done that four years ago. Instead he kept to the dopers code of silence, served his suspension and tried to return to the sport. And now when things are not going well for him he decides to spill his guts. Of course there will be goofy "what if" scenarios, any fan of pro cycling wants to know if their hero is doping.

Sorry, I didn't pick up on the sarcasm. Yes, the "what if" scenarios are inevitable. But if a fan's hero says he isn't doping, then he isn't!

Your right. In America your innocent until proven guilty. And that's really the heart of this matter. But the constant lying turns a fan into a skeptic and you assume that all pros dope and only the "unlucky ones" get caught. :(
Yeah- that's part of what pisses me off; now whenever I see someone have an amazingly strong win I cheer like this "Yeah!!! GOOOoooo! Uhhh... oh God- please don't be doping..."

Exactly, it feels like you can't truly enjoy watching a race cause you feel silly when you know so many are runnin' high octane. Then when one of my favorites does get caught
I sometimes sympathize, like there's so much pressure and all the other riders are doing it right? Could i be tempted to dope? Aaaahhhhhh!!!!!! :mad2:
