Give it a try. I could work. Since the cassette spacing is the same... I would assume the amount of pull is the only thing that matters.

Might not be perfect shifting, but it'll work.

I guess so...for I have tried to change the adjusting bolt at the RD, and there's a space for more sprocket..

I thinks it's better than buying another RD and shifter...
