TRUE! --nervous --very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am;
but why will you say that I am mad?
The disease had sharpened my senses --not destroyed --not dulled them.
Above all was the sense of hearing acute.
I heard all things in the heaven and in the earth. I heard many things in hell.
How, then, am I mad? Hearken! and observe how healthily --how calmly I can tell you the whole story.

Edgar Allen Poe, "The Telltale Heart." Unless I am mistaken.

"It grew louder --louder --louder! And still the men chatted pleasantly, and smiled.
Was it possible they heard not? Almighty God! --no, no!
They heard! --they suspected! --they knew!
--they were making a mockery of my horror!-this I thought, and this I think.
But anything was better than this agony! Anything was more tolerable than this derision!
I could bear those hypocritical smiles no longer!
I felt that I must scream or die! and now --again! --hark! louder! louder! louder! louder!"

Time for a new bike. That one is obviously possessed by demons.

It can only be water torture if it's a Deng Fu frame... :)

Figured out the valve stem a while ago. Tape works great. I'm thinking it's coming from the bb area. I just repainted the frame and re assembled about a 1000 miles ago. I'm going to re torque everything and do a little research on Ti frame bb assembly.

No to all. I thought it was my BB. I took up about a quarter turn. But it's still there. Funny thing same speed and cadence standing up no noise. I have a Brooks saddle so when I got home I tightened up on that. The seat post binder bolt is tight too. I'll check the cassette next.

Does it happen in the same part of the crank stroke, rear wheel position? Took me about a week to figure it was my crank to bb. I had to grease about every 2 months once I found it because it kept coming back. New bearings about 4 months ago permanently took care of it.

Gee, how many threads are you going to start for the same question?

I hear Frontline gets rid of ticks, and as a bonus it gets rid of fleas too.

Just thought I'd post in the Campy specific. Sorry to bother you. I hear if you snort the front line you'll never be bothered by any posts that don't concern you.
