I rebuilt my rearhub but cant for the life of me figure out how to tighten the locknut against the cone. The hub looks something like this:

The problem is the large cone shaped dust cover on the left. It prevents me from accessing the cone so I cant get my wrench to it. I tried just tightening the locknut, but obviously this also tightened the cone and made the wheel freeze up. Id greatly appreciate any help.

did you notice that 'cone shaped' thing is made out of rubber? take it off...adjust hub...put it back on. done.

Wow....I feel like an idiot. Here I was looking for some overly complicated solution when all I had to do was pop it on over the bolt. Thanks.
