I have a set of campy record 10 hubs with FIR clincher rims, 3 cross. The rear has probably well over 10k miles on it. Anyway, in the last few years, I've broken about one spoke per year in the rear wheel. I've heard that on high mileage wheels, once you break 2-3 spokes, it's probably time to rebuild the wheel with new spokes.
I just broke another one and fixed it but it may be time (maybe this winter) to just rebuild the wheel.
