Are there markings on the road so that I can check out the course's start/finish and turn around spots before actually doing this?

The start is Palm Circle drive, about 1/4 mile north of where Jefferson comes out on Canada.
Then go 5.2 miles north; turn around is near 92.

Incredibly low key event but very cool. The "guy who does aero" for Specialized, Mark Cote, showed up with a sweet Shiv. He was the fastest of the day, too.

The times are 6pm and 6:30pm! i.e. after work (unless you work the night shift).

It would be a real shame for you to make the effort for a 6am start, and then be 12 hours early ...
