I am not going in to the shop until later this week . I am not going for a full fitting but they are certified Serotta and FIST fitters. I already have the bike, so it is a matter of making it work the best they can (seat, cleats maybe stem and bars)

I've tipped a fitter when he is not the shop owner.

Tipping is traditionally to a laborer for service, as contrasted to a professional for services.

In that sense, you'd only tip them if they did a really lousy job.

Tipping for a hair cut.. that baffles me.. sorry you spent 10 minutes with an electric for $14... no you're not getting more money.


If it's your LBS and they do a kick a$$ job and help you out a bunch bring in a box of coffee and donuts sometime. Keep coming back.. they like that as well.
