About to convert my old 1/2 ton Centurion to a 1/2 ton fixie. I know the basics on how to covert but I was wondering if anyone had any hard learned secrets they would like to share.

Just finished my Centurion SS (Half Ton is Right) and didn't have any major problems. Used existing crank but for a fixie I'd probably use a 165 since the 175 and low bottom bracket of the Centurion could be dangerous. Otherwise no problems with my centurion.

Here are the links from my project threads..

Finished product.
