So when I use 25mm tires, on the front the clearance is too tight above the tire to the bottom of my brake arm. I got some gravel stuck in there and locked it up once.
Someone suggested using a new shimano 105 brake arm, which he said has better clearance for the big tire trend.

Is that true and are they compatible with the sram force cable pull?
You should look carefully at the clearance between your tire and your fork crown. In most cases, the brake is the same distance from the tire as the fork crown. We see the brake and don't see the fork so we think it is the brakes that are limiting clearance. Front and rear you will often find that the frame has the same clearance as the brake.
