I have 2001 specialized Allez triple that I want to resurrect and start using as a short trip town bike. I have 23mm cont 4-season tires on it now. But the ride is still harsher than my 2004 allez pro bike....
Any idea of how wide a tire I can get on this frame?
Any recommendations.....
Brakes are ultegra short reach (9sp era)....
