Plenty of places on the Cannondale website where they proudly tout the frame weight or frame+fork weight, but I only found one vague reference (a quote from a magazine review) that gives any idea of what the total weight of a fully built-up Synapse bike is.

15.2 lbs? Does that sound right?

Anyone have one who can verify the weight of a Synapse 1 or 2 w/ compact crank?

Thanks.

I've seen it listed in the upper 16s

I read a review listing the 56 cm carbon 1 (dura ace, kysrium SLs) as being almost 17lbs. I can't imagine it being much lighter even w/ ultegra, but maybe it was Kysrium elites. I'll be interested to hear the responses to this thread.

Just weighed my Synapse 1 compact crank, size 56 cm.

I have Ksyrium ES wheels and added the difference between them and the SL's which come standard with this bike - a total of 35 grams or 1.233 oz.

Exactly 15lb or 6.8 kgs. without pedals and including the weight difference added. That is with two carbon bottle cages and little Sigma computer still on the bike. The bike is fitted with Michelin Prorace 2 tires.

Therefore my Synapse is very slightly lighter than the magazine claimed.
