I will be in Montreal on April 25th for 2 days of racing to follow at the Villeneuve circuit. I am a para cyclist and I am looking for a route to do a ride on when I get to Montreal. Something where it is half decent calm and where there aren't too many cars. Ride will be about 1.5 hours starting from the Delta Montreal, 475 avenue President Kennedy. Will be a ride to loosen up the legs after driving for about 7hours. Want to be ready for the TT on Friday and the RR on Saturday.

Any ideas or good places to ride? Not looking for tourist sites or the like because I will focused on the the races.

Hey if you want to do some climbs you can go on the Mont Royal (same circuit as the Grand Prix Cycliste of Montreal)
Elevation: Grands Prix Cyclistes | Québec et Montréal - Circuit
Google map from your hotel: 475 President Kennedy Ave, Montreal, QC H3A 1J7, Canada to Ch de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine - Google Maps
Video from 2012: Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal 2012 - YouTube
Not much cars on Mont Royal and there are cycle lanes on Edouard Montpetit and Côte Sainte Catherine

Otherwise there is the Villeneuve Circuit where you can train
476 President Kennedy Ave, Montreal, QC H3A 1T9, Canada to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - Google Maps

There is also the Canal Lachine
Pretty much all exclusive cycle lanes so it depends on the weather (snow, dirt, etc) if its going to be great to ride there
475 President Kennedy Ave, Montreal, QC H3A 1J7, Canada to Rue Wellington - Google Maps

You could also mix those circuits together
Like this ride I did last year with my friends: Bike Ride Profile | Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Lachine, Mont Royal near Montréal | Times and Records | Strava

Hope it helps!
Have a great weekend in Montreal
