I'm going to be in western Pittsburgh through pretty much the month of July for work. As far as I know the hotel I am staying at is near Robinson Town Center. Does anybody have suggestions for routes from this area? I won't have access to a car, so I will likely have to leave from the hotel. Riding through traffic a bit to get to a nicer country route is ok with me.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I live to the northeast of Pittsburgh so I'm not real familiar with the area other than an occasional drive-thru. There is a fairly major trail that runs through that area called the Montour trail. They have their own website with maps and pics.

As to the roads, that will require someone who lives closer to that area. Close in to Robinson Town Center can get quite a lot of heavy traffic. It used to be that riding west got you out of it pretty fast. Don't know if that is still the case.
