I reciently bought a new trek 1600. I think my rear wheel is out of true. When I spin it it rubs against the break pad. So bad that it actually stops the wheel... Is this common or are the stock wheel junk. I',m at 190 LBS...Thanks
Its not uncommon to need to get the wheel trued slightly at purchase. I bought my wife a WSD TREK and had to have the wheel trued, no big deal really. 190 aint too heavy there.
Check your brake caliper to make sure its not torqued to one side too much. Just move it with your hand, the whole assembly
