Just a quick question. I decided I wanted to start riding, and though I'd look into getting a road bike. I found a Trek Elance 310 for $75. Looks good. The owner was an avid cyclist himself, and knew how to keep the bike in good shape. What price would be a good price? And what are things I should look for when buying a used bike?

That is a very nice bike...If you get it for $75 go for it....Vintage Trek's sell for a lot more money...($200+)... It would be worth buying to try riding..Even if you don't like it, it will sell for more than you paid
