1994 he wore yellow, taking the jersey just before the race crossed into Britain. Seem to remember something about Jersey pulling which prevented Motorola's Sean Yates taking the jersey that day.

Damn, that is good and timely knowledge! Why didn't I think of Cancellara.

I believe the last time someone won Paris-Roubaix and wore the yellow jersey <u>in the same year</u> was in 1981, when Bernard Hinault did it. Of course he won the TDF that year, and to top it all off, he was the reigning world champion at the time.
