Just got a set of these external cups to use with a Red crankset.
It came with two black spacers in a separate baggie. How do I know if I am supposed to use them??? If it matters, it is going into a Cervelo P3C.

You don't need the spacers. I'm running the same BB on a 2008 P3C and the shell width requires no spacers.
