Just wondering if a TT/Tri Bike frame would be usable as a bike on the bike paths for recreational riding? Have a chance to buy a next to new Aluminum TT frame for cheap in my size but don't know if I should go for it?
What do you think?

I would keep looking. TT/Tri Bike would not be a good choice for that kind of riding. It would put you in a very aggressive position that would not be good for riding around on a bike path.

Not a good choice. They are made for going in a straight line when in the aero position. Not what you want for general riding, especially on bike paths. A good price on something that you don't want is not a good price.
